- Music frequency was standardized at 440 Hz (associated with tension and disharmony) instead of the historically harmonious 432 Hz, without broad public debate.
- LED lighting standards were pushed globally as energy-saving, while older incandescent bulbs (which did not flicker at 120 Hz) were effectively banned, despite growing evidence of sleep disruption and neurological stress.
