Iron Sharpens Iron Essay #8: How New California State Follows the West Virginia Model

The Reorganized Path to the 51st State – Restoring California Through County Sovereignty

In previous essays we examined the sticky prestige web, the 500-year cycle of crisis and consolidation, controlled demolition signals, the grand jury’s historical roots, and how power shifts upward even when people believe they are fighting for accountability.
Today we look at the bigger constitutional pathway that New California State is actually walking — the same lawful road West Virginia took in 1863.

How NCS Follows the West Virginia Model

In 1861–1863, the western counties of Virginia refused to join the Confederacy. They formed the Restored Government of Virginia (a Union-loyal shadow government), held their own constitutional convention, and asked Congress to recognize them as a separate state. President Lincoln supported the move as a way to weaken the Confederacy and restore self-government to the people. On June 20, 1863, West Virginia became the 35th state.

New California State is following the exact same two-stage process:

Stage 1 – Reorganized California (Current Phase)
NCS counties are reorganizing the legitimate government under the original 1849 California Constitution.

  • Multiple constitutional conventions have been held.
  • Delegates have been elected from participating counties.
  • A new constitution based on the 1849 framework has been internally ratified.
  • Early bills and resolutions have been passed that will take full effect once statehood is confirmed.

This “Reorganized California” phase builds the new structure from within while claiming continuity with California’s original constitutional republic.

Stage 2 – Restored California, the 51st State
Once the reorganization is complete in the supporting counties, NCS will seek formal recognition from the U.S. Congress as the 51st state, officially named New California State.
Population split (2026 projections):

The leftover urban areas would continue as the remnant of the original State of California — now reduced to a few disconnected “islands” surrounded by New California State. This is what NCS calls the Restored California.

The Lincoln – Trump Parallel: Setting the Slaves Free

The parallel is powerful and intentional.

  • Lincoln supported the West Virginia split to free people from a tyrannical state government (Virginia) that no longer represented them and to restore power to “We the People.” He paired it with the Homestead Act, giving ordinary citizens land and opportunity.
  • Trump is signaling support for the NCS reorganization to free people from a tyrannical Sacramento government that no longer represents them. His Freedom Cities, massive deregulation, and return of power to states and local communities are the modern version of the same idea.

Both presidents used lawful constitutional tools during a time of national crisis to decentralize power and set people free.

County Stewardship – The Heart of the Restoration

NCS goes one step further than West Virginia: it restores true county sovereignty.
County senators are to become constitutional steward captains — not mini state representatives, but protectors of their county’s God-given rights from state or federal overreach. Power flows upward from the people → sovereign counties → coordinating state, not top-down from Sacramento.
This is the decentralization the Founders intended. It is also the fulfillment of the prayer we have prayed for centuries:
“Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Why This Is Hard for Many People to Believe

Most people have been conditioned to believe that real change only happens through elections, governors, or protests inside the existing system. The idea that 26 million people in the non-urban counties can reorganize under the 1849 Constitution and become the 51st state — while the remaining 14 million in the urban islands continue as the remnant “Restored California” — sounds impossible because the matrix has hidden this constitutional pathway for generations.

But the pathway exists. It is lawful. It is being followed step by step.

This is not rebellion.
This is restoration.
God said He is making all things new.
And we are the new things.
Iron sharpens iron. This is Essay #8 in the series. Each one is written to help us see the matrix more clearly so we can step out of it and build what God is making new.
I look forward to the honest conversations ahead. Let’s keep sharpening.
